PIMFA is committed to promoting Diversity and Inclusion in all its forms within the wealth management, investment services and financial advice industry.
Working across the industry with numerous partners PIMFA have created various initiatives such our long-standing Women in Wealth Forum, the Authentic Leadership Programme and our Career Masterclasses to inspire, empower and educate – while also helping address and tackle barriers in our industry. In May 2021 we also launched our first ever Diversity & Inclusion awards to recognise firms developing positive inclusive cultures.
We are proud to work with a number of partner organisations including LGBT Great, for whom PIMFA’s Chief Executive Liz Field is a member of Project 1000 and Ally. We are also partnering with the leading City of London social mobility charity, the Brokerage to run career masterclasses and are proponents of the Generation 2020 Academy.
PIMFA’s Chief Executive Liz Field is also an Ambassador for the Insuring Women’s Futures initiative which promotes and enhances the profession’s role in relation to women and risk.
PIMFA itself has been a proud signatory to HM Treasury’s Women in Finance Charter since 2017 and as of September 2020 we have a level of 60% female representation in senior management and as such are on track to meet our Charter target by our deadline.
